About Classic Roads

My name is Diego Escrivá de Romaní, and motorcycles have always been part of my life.

I am the grandson of Pedro Giró, one of the co‑founders — together with his brothers — of OSSA, one of the most iconic Spanish motorcycle brands in history. I grew up surrounded by stories about motorcycles, racing, engineering and adventures on two wheels.

I had my first motorcycle when I was very young and since then the road has been my way of discovering the world.

My connection with Royal Enfield began in 2004 during my first journey to the Himalayas in India, riding an old Bullet 500 through those legendary mountains. In 2013 I started co-organizing and co‑guiding motorcycle tours in the Himalayas, always on Royal Enfield motorcycles, exploring extraordinary regions such as Ladakh — often called “Little Tibet” — Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

Later I continued organising motorcycle journeys in other parts of the world, including epic routes in South America from Brazil all the way to Patagonia.

After many years travelling and guiding motorcycle tours across different continents, Classic Roads was born with a clear idea: bringing that same spirit of motorcycle travel to the islands of Menorca and Mallorca.

Classic Roads is about discovering quiet roads, hidden places and spectacular viewpoints while experiencing the character and sound of a classic Royal Enfield with the Mediterranean landscape unfolding around you.

An experience created for riders who love retro‑style motorcycles, the wind on their face and the simple pleasure of riding beautiful roads at a relaxed pace.
